Tonight's weekly server maintenance is estimated to occur from 9pm PST -12am PST.

What is Maintenance?

Tales Runner has server maintenance every Wednesday. This is done to restart our servers, perform basic system checks, apply updates, and perform quality assurance testing to features that require them.

It's after 12am PST and I still can't log in!

When maintenance occurs at its normally scheduled time, it runs from around 9pm PST to roughly 12am PST. However, sometimes maintenance runs past its scheduled time. When that happens, please watch our news and forums for updates.

Not every maintenance is performed with the express purpose of adding content to the game. Sometimes, maintenance is done just to ensure that our servers are working properly or to test changes made behind the scene.

Generally, a Game Master (GM) will post a Maintenance Thread in the forum. During maintenance you may interact with the GM(s) that are actively monitoring the thread. A GM will either start the topic off with a game or a discussion. Players may then post in the thread. After the maintenance is over, a GM will announce that the servers are up and the thread will be locked. Maintenance Threads give players a chance to chat with a GM and other players while they wait for the server maintenance to end.; Maintenance Threads can be found in the "Announcements" section at the top of every forum thread.
